During The Image Generator, Vinny Jones explores Kunsthal Extra City through light. Beginning with careful observation of the space, the work follows the movement of light through the architecture, reorganising objects and surfaces to create new encounters with reflection and shadow. Using a moving light source, the artist slowly traces the path of the sun through the building, revealing textures, indirect illumination, and ephemeral spatial connections.
By disrupting habitual ways of looking, ‘Blue is an Agreement’ invites visitors to reflect on perception as a reciprocal relationship that shapes both the observer and the observed, while drawing attention to the specific qualities of the spaces we inhabit.
