In the performance ‘Sleep Spindle’, visual artist Line Boogaerts and audiographer Ditmar Goes explore how we perceive reality. Noise plays a central role in this. It influences both what we see and what we hear.

Through image and sound, the artists search for a common language. In their performance, they draw live on glass plates. Lines, smudges, reflections, and sounds disrupt direct sight and hearing. Sound, text, and movement react to one another. This creates an open dialogue in which chance and disruption provide direction. The work invites the audience to look and listen differently. The performance opens new perspectives on sensory accessibility and communication and invites the audience to surrender to a moment that is experienced differently every time.
